About Me

My name is Elizabeth Maier, but I usually go by Elly! I'm a graphic designer and a photographer with a focus on sports. I started out with just my camera and discovered my passion for sports photography which developed into using my photos for sports design. I believe in hard work and producing quality work.

Experience

I completed two internships while in college, one with the Normal Cornbelters and the other with the Peoria Rivermen. With the Cornbelters (a collegiate prospect baseball league) I was a graphic design intern. I created graphics for their social media platforms, took photos during games, and learned the factors that go into marketing for a sports team. With the Rivermen (minor league professional hockey team, SPHL) I was a social media intern. I created graphics for their social media platforms, took photos during games, posted in-game updates on X, and captured game content for social platforms. During my internship with the Rivermen, I was fortunate to be a part of their President’s Cup Championship!

Currently, I'm working with my local high school creating graphics and photographing for the athletic department. Our goal is to increase our social media presence and bring it to the next level. I work with the athletic director to coordinate our creative goals and a marketing plan.
